The venue for our inaugural concert was a bit of a risk as the Rushcliffe Arena is not well-known for staging Classical Music concerts but the feedback from our audience was most encouraging, The Arena will therefore be our home for the rest of the season.
It would be nice to see more children in our audience so we've hit on an idea to grab their attention with Half-term almost upon us. To create some word searches for a challenge but also an opportunity to win some prizes, we've missed out a related word from the list for both word searches. If you come to our next concert armed with that word, we shall put you in the hat to be drawn at the interval to claim a bottle of champagne and an assortment of sweets for the children's word search. Should the number of tickets sold increase significantly between now and the concert, we will double the number of prizes!

In the 1st half of our programme, Rossini and Mozart’s two overtures frame the ever-popular Pavane by Faure and Beethoven’s Romance in F for violin featuring West Bridgford soloist Annabel Stevens. We conclude our 2nd concert with Beethoven’s much-loved 4th Symphony.
